The conference and banqueting facilities at the Great Northern Hotel are ideal for all types of functions, whether for business or for pleasure, we have the versatility to accommodate your every need.

We provide three rooms for banqueting and conferencing purposes – the Hambleton Room with a capacity of 200, the Garden Room with a capacity of 50 and 5 syndicate rooms with a capacity of 10 in each. These rooms can be used for a variety of purposes, from dinner dances and banquets to classroom or theatre style presentations.

Daily and residential delegate rates are available for part or full day and for overnight conferences and there are special rates for weekend residential events. Alternatively the conferencing and banqueting manager will be happy to put together a programme tailored to your specific needs.

We also provide a comprehensive range of audio visual support facilities and equipment, secretarial services and fax/photocopying facilities. Please enquire for further details and costs.
